To Create Floral Embellishment:

• Tip: Vary the sizes and placement of the flowers to create a more interesting and balanced design. Floral embellishments can be created on the nail or made in advance and applied with adhesive.

  • In a mixing tray, use a spatula to mix equal parts CND™ SHELLAC™ Cream Puff with RETENTION+™ Powder Clear to create a firm, yet moldable paste. The paste should feel like toothpaste.
  • Use a stylus to pick up a small bead of the paste and place it on the surface of the finished nail.
  • Use a CND™ ProSeries Gel Oval #6 Brush lightly moistened with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to press the bead into desired floral shape and to create the petals. Clean brush in between with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.
  • Place a tiny bead of the paste in the middle of the flower and swirl the tip of the brush to create a pearl center. Cure for one minute.
  • Use a detail brush with SHELLAC™ Black Pool to outline the flowers. DO NOT CURE.
  • Use a detail brush lightly moistened with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and Black Pool to accent the middle of the petals. Cure for one minute.
  • Press silver adhesive foil onto the cured Black Pool.

  • Cut the iridescent Mylar tape into a long triangular shape and smaller triangular shapes identical in size.
  • Use tweezers to place the long triangle down the center of the nail followed by small triangles around the perimeter of the long triangle, alternating placement to create the desired design.
  • Press the tape smooth to the nail shape with the Gel Flat Oval Brush.
  • Apply a thin layer of SHELLAC® Top Coat. Cure for one minute.
  • Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.

  • Apply a thin layer of SHELLAC® Top Coat. Cure for one minute. Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.
  • Apply VINYLUX® Black Pool to the pattern in the stamping plate. Use the stamping scraper to remove excess color, roll stamper over pattern and apply to the nail.
  • Use a detail brush to apply SHELLAC® Black Pool over the pattern to create a raised effect. DO NOT CURE.
  • Use spatula to sprinkle RETENTION+® Sculpting Powder Clear over the pattern. Allow the powder to absorb into the uncured Black Pool and repeat until there is no longer any shine. Cure for one minute.
  • Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove residue.

  • Use a striping brush moistened with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to blend Hypnotic Dreams into Berry Boudoir, feathering from the tip towards the center of the nail. Cure for one minute.
  • Apply a thin layer of SHELLAC® Top Coat. DO NOT CURE.
  • Place rose gold crystals in the wet top coat to create the embellished design. Cure for one minute.
  • In a mixing tray, mix equal parts SHELLAC® Top Coat and Wildflowers Rose Gold Chrome powder to form a thin paste.
  • Use a striping brush to apply a thin horizontal line of the rose gold blend to accent the design. Cure for one minute.
  • Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.

To Create Gemstone:

• • Press the desired faceted crystal or gemstone into the molding compound. (Follow manufacturer’s directions for molding compound use.)
  • Remove stone from the compound and pour a small amount of BRISA® Gloss into the gemstone mold. Cover the entire impression with an even layer of BRISA® Gloss. Cure for one minute in the CND® LED Lamp. Repeat if needed for additional thickness.
  • Gently remove cured gem from mold, use a cosmetic sponge to burnish Wildflowers Fuchsia Chrome powder onto the underside of the gem. Repeat two to three times to create desired color intensity.
  • Apply a thin layer of SHELLAC® Lilac Eclipse over the Fuchsia Chrome powder. Cure for one minute.
  • Apply a thin layer of SHELLAC® Top Coat. Cure for one minute.
  • Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.

To Create Setting:

• • Use two-part molding compound to make an oval ball shape.
  • In a mixing tray, mix equal parts BRISA® Gloss and Wildflowers Rose Gold Chrome powder to form a thin paste.
  • Create the pattern for the setting over the oval mold using a detail brush and the rose gold paste. Cure for one minute.
  • Seal and reinforce the setting with a detail brush and BRISA® Gloss. Cure for one minute.
  • Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.
  • Repeat this process for opposite side of the setting.

To Assemble:

• • Adhere settings to both sides of the gem using adhesive.
  • Adhere base of the setting to polished nail tip using adhesive and embellish with rose gold crystals.
